Best Makeup Remover EVER!

Are you tired of not finding that perfect product that easily takes off ALL your eye makeup and doesn't leave your skin feeling like you just tortured it? For years I have struggled finding the perfect eye makeup remover. Either the product would burn my skin, dry it out, not take the makeup off, or be too harsh and cause my lines to be more visible. AHHHHHHHHH!!!! Obviously none of that is desirable. So I was extremely excited when I found out that my Nourishing Eye Balm takes off ALL of my makeup without leaving my face feeling like I just sandblasted it. And to top it off, my eye balm is 100% natural. Woooowhooo! Now who wouldn't love that?

My Nourishing Eye Balm contains coconut oil, beeswax, vitamin E, lavender, carrot seed, elemi, and geranium oils. I'll briefly break down why I use each ingredient.

  • Coconut oil has so many wonderful benefits for your body. It is extremely nourishing to the skin which is why I use it in my eye balm. However, you won't find it in any of my face creams because it has a moderately high clog rating. While this isn't a factor when using it around your eyes or on the rest of your body, you have to be careful with long-term use on the rest of your face.
  • Beeswax naturally has anti-bacterial properties. It also acts as a protecting layer sealing all the nourishing goodness underneath without clogging pores.
  • Vitamin E is a nutrient rich in antioxidants which help protect the skin.
  • Lavender oil has a component naturally found in it called linalol. What does it do? It helps soothe skin which makes it great for all skin types.
  • Carrot Seed oil contains antioxidants that help protect the skin and are thought to possibly support rejuvenation.
  • Elemi oil has natural properties that support collagen and firm skin.
  • Geranium oil can be considered an astringent. It may help tighten skin and make it look smoother.

Instead of doing a step-by-step through pictures of how I use the eye balm to take off makeup, I decided to do a video. I will say that I forgot to wipe off the excess on my eyelid at the end. Whoops! So be sure you get all excess balm off when using it as a makeup remover. That's what happens I guess when I don't have a mirror to look at. ;) You can find my Nourishing Eye Balm here.
